The project

DISCOVER THE SHAPES OF TASTE, MADE IN EU is a three-year (2020–2023) project by Assolatte aimed to improve the knowledge and boost the competitiveness of dairy products in markets, such as China, where the demand for quality products is rising. For the Shapes of Taste campaign, Sg Project has made show cooking events in China for influencers and the press, trade press tour and press office activities, online promotional campaigns (WeChat and Baidu), visual identity and production of consistent materials, development and management of the website and social media pages, project management, technical support and reporting, risk assessment and management during the crisis COVID-19 and implementation of alternative solutions. The Shapes of Taste project is co-funded by the European Union in accordance with EU Reg. UE n. 1144/2014

Visual identity

For the visual identity of the communication campaign, we have created a distinctive and consistent visual representing the type of products promoted. The visual identity has been applied to all online and offline materials (press kit, gadgets, website and social media pages).

Press Dinner

Press dinner events in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou are scheduled for the Shape Of Taste campaign in order to boost the loyalty of the press and influencers.
The press dinner is an opportunity for meeting, networking, discussing and enjoying a guided tasting of the products promoted. After the official welcome address by a representative of Assolatte, a well-known chef will entertain guests with show cooking; a short talk by a nutritionist will close the event.

Influencer marketing

Given the key role of KOLs in China, influencer marketing is an important tool to reach out to consumers through social media. We have selected the food lovers, brand ambassadors and content creators with a vast number of followers (especially young followers) who are the perfect match for the event.
